The British Library digitises Greek manuscripts

The British Library has digitised over 280 Greek manuscripts dating from the 6th century. The website at provides researchers with free access to high quality digital images, with descriptions, of a large part of the British Library’s Greek manuscripts collection. You can browse the online collection or search by keywords. Highlights include: The Theodore Psalter which was produced in Constantinople in 1066, and is a highly illustrated manuscript of the Psalms; the Illuminated Gospels, a late 12th century gospel book which is rare because of its integration of images of Christ's life into the Gospels.
